My name is Nicholas Parsons and I am a certified personal trainer through American Council on Exercise (ACE). In addition, I have earned my Masters of Arts degree in Wellness and Lifestyle Management from Rowan University where I learned the importance of health promotion within the community. At Rowan, I specifically learned about weight management, diabetes, obesity, and the difficulty of making any behavioral change. Through my education and experience I can apply strategies and techniques to assist others in making healthy lifestyle changes that are sustainable, obtainable, and life changing.
Currently, I work full time as a Wellness Coach for an agency who assists children and families with therapeutic and medical needs. My goal is to help families who have limited resources manage their chronic medical conditions by increasing physical activity and adhering to proper nutritional recommendations.
Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to be able to share my knowledge in the efforts of helping other manage or prevent chronic conditions such as obesity, diabetes, heart disease, etc. I have been a fitness coordinator for a program called "Get Fit" through Stockton University. In this endeavor, I have assisted adults and adolescents with developmental disorders to increase their nutritional knowledge in addition to providing them with one-on-one and group personal training.
My mission in starting my own business was to provide personal training and wellness coaching services for everyone no matter age or ability at an affordable price.
